Group Leader, Danish Maritime Institute

July 1992 - August 1994

I was responsible for a 5-person group developing a commercial system for weather-routing for ships. The project was primarily a software development project, and I was responsible for the development of suitable quality assurance system for software development, and ensuring project completion on time and budget. During this period, I implemented structured software development methods, which had not previously been used in the company. In particular, I emphasized the continuity from customer requirements, through architecture, design, implementation and test, to delivery to the customer, as well as version control and documentation standards.
