Productivity Services Manager, NOKIA France

May 1996 - May 1998

As Productivity Services Manager in France, I was responsible for employing, developing, training and managing the human resources. The staffing level was increased from 2 employees in 1996 to 24 in 1998. Adding contractors and temporary workforce, the headcount peaked at 50 persons. I successfully integrated the resources working on different projects into one team, sharing visions and experiences across projects. I also developed a quality system to assure the quality of the services provided by the department, and was responsible for the economical performance of the department.

When I commenced the activities, NOKIA France had just won its first cellular turnkey project. I was heavily involved in this project as Network Planning Manager. During the start-up of the project I was responsible for defining a suitable strategy for planning the network, for developing procedures and standards to support the strategy implementation, and for leading the team to a successful implementation of the strategy.

Following the successful start-up of this first cellular turnkey project, I coordinated the network planning efforts in all French projects, including two turnkey projects and a replacement project.
