BEC

BEC is a full-service IT house, delivering IT services to more than a hundred financial institutions in Denmark.
KaarPo has been responsible for the security of BEC's eBanking solution.
KaaPo drafted a strategy for the security of BEC's eBanking solution, which is continually being updated as mandated by analysis of the current Internet threats.
Henrik Kaare Poulsen from KaarPo was then as project manager responsible for projects to implement various safety improvements.
Furthermore, Henrik was responsible for following up on security incidents, including the definition and implementation of processes and tools for assessment, monitoring and reporting.
Henrik has also advised various projects, functions and customers about security, and participated in the financial sector's various forums dealing with eBanking security.
Henrik has been the contact for eBanking security both internally and towards customers and business partners.
Satair
January 2006 - October 2006
Satair wanted to implement a new ERP system
in the company's French and English branches.
KaarPo was responsible for project management in this project.
KaarPo prepared the project plan, and lead the analysis of reqirements regarding ERP, in particular the handling of Direct Line Feed. However, it became clear that it would not be possible to customize the system selected to fulfill Satair's requirements, so the project was cancelled.
TDC mobile
March 2005 - December 2005
Inter-departemental project management of prioritized product-development-projects for TDC mobile
As a project manager, the main duties have been:
- Inter-departemental project-control and project-leadership, including follow-up, reporting and evaluation
- Execution of project according to TDC Mobile's ISO-approved product development process.
Project manager for:
- Content barring (barring for different types of SMS/WAP/MMS content, depending on customer requests)
- Information about prices for 3G roaming on TDC mobile's web portal
- Flatrate products for Service Providers (large volume of SMS/GPRS/MMS for fixed monthly fee)
- Single Sign-On solution for different customer portals offered by different departments in TDC
Taking part in co-ordination of projects for 3G launch.
eSe Security
June 2003 - February 2005
KaarPo has been responsible for the development of En.Gate for eSe Security.
En.Gate Is a complete security solution for small and medium size enterprises.
The product includes:
- Definition of a ISO-17799, compliant security policy, customized for the needs of the specific enterprise.
- A combination of firewall and proxies, ensuring 'technical' security.
- An e-learning system which helps the enterprise educate staff in security releated behaviour - based upon the defined security policy.
KaarPo's responsibilities included:
- Requirement specification
- Architecture and detailed design
- Implementation
- Test specification, execution, and documentation
- System- and user documentation
- Team leadership
- Management of subcontractors
- Demonstration at exhibitions (COMDEX, CeBit)
Siteshop
July 2002 - now
KaarPo has developed confidentiality modules for Superoffice, as a subcontractor to Siteshop
KaarPo has developed customer specific versions, as well as two generic modules:
The confidentiality modules are controlling users' access to information in Superoffice according to predefined criteria.
KaarPo has also developed a Superoffice document-handling-module: SuperVault.
The modules are developed in Visual basic, in the period from 2002 to 2005. KaarPo has been responsible for:
- analysis and specification
- design and implementation
- test and delivery
The modules are used by many enterprises, including:

- Falck (Danmark og Sverige)
